About D.R.A.M.A
Performing arts run by people who still perform.
Don Rae Academy of Movement & Arts has been delivering dance and drama to children for over 25 years, in school halls, community centres and on full stages.
The work sits across four areas: workshops delivered into schools during the day, after-school clubs, term-time academies in five locations, and children’s parties. Whichever route a child comes in by, the aim is the same — build confidence by getting them performing quickly, in front of people.
Every facilitator is a working performer with current DBS clearance, trained at Arts Ed, Doreen Bird and the Central School of Speech and Drama. Students who want to go further can be put forward for professional film, television and commercial work through our children’s acting agency.
